BETH DAVID FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN
Dear Members and Friends,
I hope you are well and continue to stay safe during this difficult Covid-19 pandemic. Our services will continue to be held virtually as scheduled, including the upcoming High Holidays. The Board and Rabbi are conferring with other Synagogues facing the same problem, to provide the best services possible in the safety and convenience of your home. We all look forward to returning to our beautiful sanctuary when it is safe to do so.
While the Synagogue is not in use we have the perfect opportunity to complete the last project of our physical renewal plan. As you know, we have done a great many things to insure the integrity of the building both structurally and cosmetically. The last major element in our master plan is shown in the rendering above. We will be removing the steps in front and back, thereby making the building handicap accessible and up to code. We are relocating the entrance to the community room to face the street and be more inviting and architecturally appropriate. A widened paved front plaza will create an elegant and efficient entry setting for the building. The plaza and walkway to the rear will be defined by low brick walls that will match the brick of the building. When completed, it will be beautiful.
No gift is too small or too large, and all gifts are tax deductible. All donors will be honored on a dedication plaque that will be installed in the Synagogue. If you have questions, or would like to discuss this matter with me, the best way would be through my email, wsebethdavid@gmail.com. I look forward to celebrating the new plaza, when Beth David can safely reopen. With our eyes toward the next generation, let’s try to achieve this important financial goal. Stay well and stay safe.
Best regards,
Bil Ehrlich
